The English Immersion Program (E.I.P) is a campus initiate at the African Leadership University that helps none anglophone students on their journey to mastery of English Language.
While our program supports non-anglophone community members, in order to fully bridge the language barriers at ALU, we need support from anglophone community members like yourself. Below, we’ve listed some of the best ways to help.
We occasionally organize events to encourage the EIP community practice their oral English skills and your attendance will go a long way in helping us building communication within the community.
You could also volunteer to be a language buddy or to join cohort 12 group E, to continue to build innovations that improve the program.
Learning a new skill can be difficult but with perseverance, a lot of community support, engagement and collaboration, anything is possible. Learning a new language yourself could help encourage your peers.
